The Alto 800 Makes You Want To #TohChaleinKya Everywhere

Let's play a game.

The game is quite simple really. It's called 'Have you ever?'. For those of you who have played this before, you know how this goes. For those of you who haven't, you will learn how to in the following paragraphs. Let's get started, shall we.

Have you ever gone rock-climbing?

No?

Okay, let's try another one.

Have you ever gone one whole year without checking your facebook? facebook?

No again?

Okay, let's try one more.

In your city, have you ever been stuck in a traffic jam for over three hours?

Sort of?

If you live in Bangalore at the moment, you know this has happened to you more often than you'd like.

Okay, good. One last question.

Have you ever just wanted to just break free from your drudgery of a day, jump into a car and escape to any place that gives you peace or brings you joy?

Yes? Our guess is that you HAVE felt this way. And guess what, we have all encountered this feeling at least once in our lives.

Whether you've had a rough day at work or a really long day of endless lectures at class, whether you want to just celebrate your best friend's birthday at his favourite eat out or go on an unplanned road trip with your travel-crazed mates, most much-needed escapes/ semi-planned vacations/ unplanned samosa-chai breaks in the rain and other memorable situations begin in a similar fashion. They all begin with that one friend who simply says, "Toh Chalein Kya?".

Moreover, these trips are not about usual places we visit. They are about venturing into places that aren't typical run of the mill "monuments". Such as driving into "Airlines" for a quick cuppa? My fellow Bangalore friends will understand the reference.

And that's exactly these 10 storytellers did in 10 cities (Jaipur, Lucknow, Cochin, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, Delhi, and Bangalore). They ventured out in the all new Alto 800 to explore the unexplored places - clicked photos of non-commercial city joints and then posted them on their social pages.

Engagers also joined in on social media by clicking and uploading a photo of their place of interest while also using the hashtag #TohChaleinKya followed by the city name. The 10-day long social media engagement was open till June 24, 2016.

We're sure you will agree with us that the joy of exploring is what keeps us going. And trust us, the all new Alto 800 is just the right companion you're looking for. So, what are you waiting for?
