Petrol Price Cut By INR 2.42; Diesel Price Cut By INR 2.25 Per Litre
Wednesday morning brings good news for vehicle owners. The price of petrol has been cut by INR 2.42 per litre and diesel by INR 2.25 per litre.
This price cut is effective since Wednesday 12:00 am.
This reduction in price is the tenth straight time petrol prices have dropped since August last year and the sixth time diesel prices have dropped since October.
For a long time, petrol and diesel prices were a worry for many who own cars, when petrol prices almost skyrocketed, forcing many to chose diesel engined vehicles, and even making car manufacturers to introduce new diesel cars.
Now since prices have dropped, and the price difference between the two fuels has also narrowed, making people chose petrol vehicles over diesel vehicles.
In such a case, one could just wait and see what carmakers who specialise on diesel engines will do to keep up with the stiff competition.
But for consumers, the drop in fuel prices is always very welcome!
