London To Berlin In A Jaguar XE Episode 2: Elba Meets Martin Brundle

Actor and aspiring film maker Idris Elba set off on an epic 750 mile (1200 km) road trip in the new Jaguar XE, claimed to be the most fuel efficient Jaguar ever produced.

His journey was to be documented in a four part film series. The second edition is out. The third installment will debut from the 18th of February, with the final story shared from the 22nd of February onwards.

In this second installment, Elba meets up with Formula One racing legend Martin Brundle. Together, they review the performance capabilities of the new Jaguar XE 3.0-litre petrol.

This high-octane test takes place at Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium.

The Jaguar XE 3.0-litre petrol is a 2995 cc, V6, supercharged engine, that produces 340 PS and 450 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox, that can propel the car to a top speed of 249 km/h, and slingshot the car from 0 to 62 mph in 5.1 seconds.
