2015 Detroit Auto Show: Best Car Ads Of 2014
Making a beautiful car is one thing, selling it is another. One of the best way of selling a car or attracting a person to buy it is through commercials.
During the Detroit International Auto Show, the second annual Automobile Advertising of the Year competition took place and here are the winners and a few notable mentions:
Volvo Trucks:
Jean-Claude Van Damme's epic split, between two Volvo trucks definitely had to be there among the winners! The split on two Volvo trucks reversing side-by-side.

Scripted Life. This ad shows how a man lives his everyday life according to a movie script. The average office goers life then takes a turn when an Audi comes along.

Hyundai:
Dad's Sixth Sense. This ad features a dad, who protects his son from everything possible, until the son gets behind the wheels of a Hyundai. He leaves the car to do the rest.

Toyota:
This deserves to be on this list. The Toyota Hilux ad shows just what it takes to own a pickup truck that is as tough as tough can get!

Honda:
The Other Side. Honda has won a few awards for its ads. This is nothing less. The ad shows a man, who drives a Civic as a family man, and its counterpart, the Type R, as an adventurous undercover cop.

Eyes on the Road. This is an exceptionally well made public awareness ad by the German brand. It promotes road safety in a way that no one has ever seen before.
