Aston Martin Vulcan Revealed
Aston Martin, after teasing the world with the the new car, the company thought it would be a good idea to reveal a few facts about the Aston Martin Vulcan.
First, the engine. The Aston Martin Vulcan will have a V12 engine, but will be bored to 7.0-litres instead of the usual 5.9-litres. The exact horsepower produced on the other hand is still unknown, but surely more than 800.
The Aston Martin Vulcan will recieve loads of carbon fibre touches and will be a FIA-approved track only car with:
- Pushrod suspensions with adjustable dampers
- Anti-roll bars
- Six-speed sequential transmission
- Carbon ceramic discs
- Adjustable anti-lock brakes
- Brembo calipers
- Adjustable traction control
- 19-inch wheels
- 345-section Michelin tyres
All look very very interesting. But with all good news comes bad news. There will only be 24 cars made. A racing development program will also be offered with the car.
The Aston Martin Vulcan will be officially unveiled during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show next week.
