Hyundai Creta Exterior And Interior Design

Hyundai Creta Exterior And Interior Design

Hyundai launched the facelift model of its most-popular SUV, the Creta in February 2020. The new Hyundai Creta comes with a completely refreshed design, host of new and added features and plenty of other equipment as well.

Starting with the front, the Hyundai Creta comes with the brand’s latest design language with the large cascading grille. Flanking either side of the grille are a new pair of LED headlamp units. The LED DRLs on the new Creta surround the headlamps in a C-shaped format. The front bumper has also been re-designed and features the central air intake, with the fog lamps at either end.

The side and rear profiles also carry forward the new design updates. The side profile comes with a fresh design, especially to its C-pillar. Hyundai has also redesigned the alloy wheels on the new Creta, which looks more stylish than before.

The rear profile comes with C-shaped taillights, similar to the SUV’s headlamp units. The new Hyundai Creta also comes with a roof-mounted spoiler with integrated brake lights as well. Hyundai has also completely re-designed the boot-lid of the new Creta while the rear bumper also comes with major updates.

The re-styling is not limited to the exteriors alone, the new Hyundai Creta also comes with major updates and changes on the inside as well. The interiors of the new Creta features a host of new updates and added features, making it more premium compared to the old model.

Hyundai Creta Engine And Performance

Hyundai Creta Engine And Performance

The new Hyundai Creta now comes with a completely new set of BS6 engine options as well. Hyundai has discontinued its old 1.6-litre and 1.4-litre petrol and diesel offerings. The Creta now borrows its powertrain from its cousin, the Kia Seltos.

The new Hyundai Creta features the same set of 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options, along with the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol as well. All three engines even produce the same power outputs as well. The 1.5-litre petrol produces 115bhp and 144Nm of torque while he 1.5-litre diesel churns out 115bhp and 250Nm of peak torque.

Both engines are mated to a standard six-speed manual gearbox. The petrol and diesel engines also receive an optional automatic transmission unit as well. The third 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine, on the other hand, produces 140bhp and 242Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a dual-clutch automatic as standard, without the option of a manual transmission.
