The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 offers a modern classic design, inspired by the original Interceptor of the 1960s. The Interceptor offers a relaxed riding position and captures the essence of the British Roadster.

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 comes with wide handlebars and low footpegs offering a comfortable upright riding position. It also features a teardrop shaped fuel tank, distinctively wide handlebars, diamond-quilted seats and clean lines along the entire motorcycle.

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is powered by an all-new 649cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine. This is the same engine as seen on the Continental GT 650. It produces 47bhp and 52Nm of peak torque. It is further mated to a six-speed gearbox, with a standard slipper-clutch assist.

The Interceptor 650 offers good performance, with the torque coming in from low rpms. The 650cc motorcycle is well balanced and offers a nimble ride in urban city riding conditions while being planted at high speeds on the highway.

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 offers a number of features. The modern classic motorcycle comes has standard dual-channel ABS and slipper-clutch.

The Interceptor 650 rides on 18-inch 36-spoke aluminium alloys wheels. They are further wrapped in Pirelli Phantom Sportcomp tyres with 110/90 front and 130/70 rear profiles. The suspension on the motorcycle is through 41mm telescopic front forks and a twin coil-over shocks at the rear.

For braking, the Interceptor 650 uses a 320mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear, both come with twin-piston callipers from ByBre (By Brembo). The brakes on the motorcycle are further assisted dual-channel ABS system from Bosch.
