The New Hyundai Elantra Brochure Leaked — Here Is Everything You Need To Know
The Hyundai Elantra has been teased quite a few times and has even been spied numerous times. Just days ahead of its launch, the Elantra's brochure has leaked online and here's what the car has to offer.
First up, the design. Hyundai has opted out of the fluidic design, and has chosen a rather edgy design for the car. The car features sharp headlamps with integrated Daytime Running Lights. The overall design is sleek, thanks to the roofline and the wrap around headlights.
Now, moving towards the engine, the Elantra will be offered with two engines: a 2.0-litre petrol engine that makes 158bhp and 190Nm of torque, while the second option is a 1.6-litre diesel engine that makes 128bhp and 265Nm of torque.
The diesel engine is the same unit that powers the Verna and the Creta. For the Elantra, Hyundai will offer a choice of either a manual or an automatic 6-speed gearbox.
The Hyundai Elantra will be offered in India in five variants, namely S, SX, SX AT, SX(O), and SX(O) AT. Some of the features that will be available in the top end variant of the Elantra are LED taillights, 16-inch wheels, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, and dual zone climate control.
The hyundai Elantra will feature two airbags as standard, while the top variant will have side and curtain airbags.
