Triumph Motorcycles recently unveiled the Speed 400 globally and will hit the Indian Markets soon. Let’s take a look at Speed 400 against the Bajaj Dominar 400.
The Triumph Speed 400 has a 398.15cc engine producing 39.5bhp and 37.5Nm of peak torque. The Bajaj Dominar is powered by a 373.3cc engine that produces 39.5bhp and 35Nm of torque.
Both, the Speed 400 and the Dominar 400 come with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.
The Triumph Speed 400 comes with a tubular steel perimeter frame while the suspension has a 43mm fork in the front and a single shock absorber in the rear.
The Dominar 400 uses a beam-type perimeter frame and cast swingarm. The Dominar has 43mm USD fork in the front with a mono-shock in the rear.
The Triumph Speed 400 is 2,065mm long, 795mm wide, 1,075mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 1,377mm.
The Bajaj Dominar 400 is 2,165mm long, 863mm wide, 1,243mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 1,453mm.
The Dominar 400 comes with a 320mm disc brake in the front and a 230mm disc in the rear. The Speed 400 has a 300mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear.
