The Last Diesel Volvo

Volvo has earlier announced its plans to stop producing diesel cars and become an EV company by 2040.

Volvo's production plant in Sweden saw the last of XC90 Diesel SUV roll off its production line.

This event marks huge milestone in the history of Volvo.

In 2023, Volvo increased sales of electric cars by 70 per cent.

At the same time, Volvo also increased its global market share up to 34 per cent.

Volvo also plans to achieve net zero green house gas emissions by 2040.

According to Volvo, its future is fully electric.

With the last Volvo diesel car rolling off the production line, it truly marks the end of an era.
