Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Launched In India At Rs 3.49 Lakh – Specifications, Variants & More
Royal Enfield has finally launched the long-awaited Super Meteor 650 cruiser motorcycle in India with a starting price of Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Price & Variants
Starting with the price and variants, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 cruiser motorcycle is available in three variants - Astral, Interstellar, and Celestial. Out of these, the 'Astral' is the base model and costs Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India), whereas the 'Celestial' is the fully-kitted variant that costs Rs 30,000 more, and the 'Interstellar' comes out as the mid-spec variant with a price tag of Rs 3.64 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Colours
The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 'Astral' comes with three single-tone colour options - Black, Blue, and Green. On the other hand, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 'Interstellar comes in two dual-tone colours - Gery, and Green. It is also worth mentioning that the top-spec Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 'Celestial' also comes with two dual-tone colour options, however, the colours are different as it comes in either Red or Black.
Design
Design is one of the biggest USPs of the new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 as the cruiser motorcycle has a really good road presence and looks very premium. In fact, the new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 could be easily mistaken for something American from a distance.
Diving into details, the beefy-looking USD forks, the large 15.8-litre fuel tank, and the chunky-looking 16-inch wheels make the Super Meteor 650 motorcycle look quite muscular. On top of that, the motorcycle also features numerous premium bits, which furhter uplifts the road presence of the motorcycle.
Powertrain
Powering the new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 motorcycle is the same 648cc, parallel-twin petrol engine that powers other Royal Enfield motorcycles such as the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Royal Enfield Continental GT650. This engine produces 46.3bhp of peak power at 7,250rpm and 52.3Nm of peak torque at 5,650rpm. Also, this powertrain comes with a 6-speed gearbox.
