Sporty Hero Xoom Launched At Rs 68,599 - 3 Variants, 5 Colour Options

India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Motocorp has launched the all-new Xoom scooter in India.

India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Motocorp has launched the all-new Xoom scooter in India. Introductory prices for the Hero Xoom start at Rs 68,599 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and bookings will start on the 1st of February.

The all-new Hero Xoom scooter is offered in three variant levels - LX, VX and ZX. The Hero Xoom LX is priced at Rs 68,599 while the Zoom VX commands a price tag of Rs 71,799. The top-spec ZX varriant is priced at Rs76,699 (all prices mentioned are introductory and ex-showroom, Delhi).

Hero Xoom Design, Features & Colours

The Hero Xoom features a very sporty design with the front apron sporting a dual-tone look with a black central section. The Hero Xoom sports LED projector headlamps with H-shaped position lights. The blinkers are situated on the handlebar and the sporty new scooter features segment-first LED cornering lights that are housed on flared plastic fenders that are finished in grey.

The sides of the Xoom feature a very sculpted look with aerodynamic sections that flare towards the rear of the bike. The Xoom sports a wide seat and a single-piece grab handle for the pillion rider. The all-new Hero Xoom scooter gets a chunky exhaust and an H-shaped LED taillight. The new Xoom scooter from Hero rides on snazzy 12-inch alloy wheels.

The new Hero Xoom sports a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity that allows for alerts from your phone including Caller ID, incoming calls and messages, missed calls and phone battery level. Other features include a front storage section and USB charging port and a large and illuminated under-seat storage space.

The Hero Xoom is offered in five colour options - Polestar Blue, Sports Red, Matt Abrax Orange, Pearl Silver White and Black.

Hero Xoom Specs

The Hero Xoom is powered by a 110cc single-cylinder engine that produces 8.05bhp at 7,250rpm and 8.7Nm of peak torque at 5,750rpm. The Hero's Xoom's engine features the firm's patented i3S idle start-stop technology that helps improve efficiency and the powerplant is paired to a CVT gearbox.

The all-new Hero Xoom sports telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear. The new Xoom scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels shod with MRF Nylogrip tyres. Braking duties are handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear and are helped along by Hero's integrated braking system.
