TVS Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect Launched: Prices Start From Rs 80,973
TVS has launched the new TVS Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect and the 110cc scooter now gets TVS' SmartXonnect and Voice Assist features.
TVS Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect has been priced at Rs. 80,973 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it the most expensive of all the TVS Jupiter 110cc models.
In addition to this, the Hosur-based two-wheeler giant has also added two new colour options - Matte Black, and Copper Brown.
With the launch of the TVS Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect, it became the only scooter in its segment to be available with a fully digital cluster, voice assistant and navigation features. The new TVS Jupiter SmartXonnect also features an SMS and Call alert function.
In addition to the digital instrument cluster, the TVS Jupiter SmartXonnect also gets 'SmartXonnect' stickering upfront to distinguish the model from other variants.
TVS Jupiter ZX variant now sports a new Silver Oak colour inner panels to help the top-end model stand out from other models. In addition to this, the ZX trim level now features a new dual-tone seat and a new rear backrest for improved comfort.
Other standout features include LED headlamps, glovebox with mobile charger, 21-litre underseat storage, front disc brake and a few more.
Speaking about the TVS SmartXonnect platform, it is a feature based on the Bluetooth connectivity tech and the system can be paired to the user's mobile phone with TVS Connect mobile App, which at the moment is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
One feature worth mentioning is the Voice Assist function which has been designed to interact with the scooter via voice commands. However, due to the lack of a dedicated mic in the scooter, the user's voice has to be sent to the TVS SmartXonnect app through devices such as Bluetooth-enabled earphones or wired earphones.
When the Voice command has been received and processed, the response to the voice input is visible on the speedometer, and the scooter also sends audio feedback via headphones.
Speaking about TVS Jupiter, it is the 2nd highest selling scooter in India and the best selling model in the TVS lineup.
The TVS Jupiter is powered by a 110cc air-cooled engine with 7.78bhp of peak power at 7,500rpm and 8.8Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. This engine also uses intelliGO technology and i-TOUCHstart system which uses an integrated starter generator system to further improve fuel economy.

TVS Jupiter has always been a consistent seller for the company and the newly launched TVS Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect variant further improves on the strengths of the 110cc scooter and now makes it more desirable among younger audiences.
