Royal Enfield Sales Breakup August 2022 - Classic 350, Meteor 350, Hunter 350 & More

Royal Enfield Classic 350 (18,993 units)

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 continues to be the best-selling Royal Enfield motorcycle in India. In August 2022, Royal Enfield sold 18,993 units of Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycles in India. However, the YoY sales figures have dipped for the Classic 350 motorcycle by more than 19 per cent.

In comparison, MoM sales figures for the motorcycle have also come down by an almost equal margin as the company managed to sell 4,230 units less compared to the 23,223 units sold in the month of July 2022, resulting in a MoM sales dip of almost 19 per cent.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 (18,197 units)

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 quickly gained the interest of Indian consumers and rocketed itself to become the second best-selling Royal Enfield motorcycle. In August 2022, Royal Enfield sold 18,197 units of Hunter 350 motorcycle - which is just a few hundred units short of the Classic 350 motorcycle.

Moreover, the launch of the Hunter 350 has affected the sales of the Classic 350 motorcycle as well.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 (9,362 units)

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is an amazing motorcycle for anyone who loves riding long distances. The motorcycle has excellent touring capability and is well known for it. However, the Meteor 350 couldn't match the sales figures of the Classic 350 and the company managed to sell just 9,362 units in August 2022.

However, both YoY and MoM sales figures for the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 motorcycle have improved by almost 47 per cent and 16 per cent, respectively.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 (7,618 units)

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 has always been an iconic motorcycle and the motorcycle has a very loyal fan base in the country. However, sales figures are just above average compared to the Classic 350 motorcycle at just 7,618 units in August 2022.

In comparison, Royal Enfield sold 3,669 units of Bullet 350 motorcycles in August 2021, thus resulting in a YoY sales increase of more than 107 per cent. Moreover, MoM sales figures for the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 motorcycle have improved by more than 16 per cent as the company managed to sell 1,088 units more compared to the previous month.

Royal Enfield Electra 350 (4,104 units)

The Royal Enfield Electra 350 is not a motorcycle for everyone's liking. However, the motorcycle has a lot of character to it and many Royal Enfield fanboys like the motorcycle for its simplicity. In August 2022, Royal Enfield sold 4,104 units of Electra 350 motorcycles in India, resulting in a more than 109 per cent increase in YoY sales figures.

Moreover, MoM sales figures for the Royal Enfield Electra 350 motorcycle have also improved by almost 7 per cent as the company managed to sell 3,853 units in July 2022.

Analysing the sales performance of Royal Enfield 350cc motorcycles, it is clear that the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 motorcycle has become a hit amongst its audience and it is en route to becoming the best-selling Royal Enfield.
