Royal Enfield Meteor 650 Spotted Testing Again
The latest spy shots of the Royal Enfield Meteor 650 motorcycle have been leaked again and these images reveal that the upcoming 650cc motorcycle from Royal Enfield has a massive street presence.
In fact, for an untrained eye, the upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 650 could be easily mistaken for a Harley Davidson motorcycle. With such a commanding street presence, the upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 650 could be the brand's latest flagship offering.
In addition to that, analysing the spy shot of the upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 650, it seems that the motorcycle has almost attained its final production form and Royal Enfield could be fine-tuning the suspension setup.
Also, the launch of the Royal Enfield Meteor 650 motorcycle has been eagerly awaited by many Royal Enfield fans across the country. In addition to that, the upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 650 motorcycle is expected to be a very relaxed touring machine with tremendous mile-munching capabilities.
The launch of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 combines the power and torque of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the relaxed riding posture of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 - Creating an almost perfect touring motorcycle for motorcycle enthusiasts in the country.
Since the upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 650 is expected to be the most expensive Royal Enfield motorcycle, we also expect to see a few additional premium features over other Royal Enfield motorcycles.
Moreover, a few leaked images also confirm these premium features and one of which is the usage of USD forks at the front instead conventional forks used in other Royal Enfield motorcycles. Moreover, the upcoming new Royal Enfield Meteor 650 motorcycle also seems to use much fatter rear tyres.
The upcoming Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 motorcycle is most likely to be powered by the same 650cc, parallel-twin engine that powers the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 motorcycles.
This engine puts out 47bhp of peak power at 7,100rpm and 52Nm of torque at 5,250rpm - Both of these figures are plenty sufficient for a motorcycle of this segment. However, we are not sure if Royal Enfield has retuned this engine to further suit the more-relaxed character of this motorcycle.
Other than that, we don expect to see any changes apart from a few minor tweaks to the 6-speed transmission. This transmission also comes with a slip and assist clutch as well.
We also expect features such as dual-channel ABS, and tripper navigation module to be standard features on the upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 650 motorcycle.
However, given the size of the motorcycle, we expect the Royal Enfield Meteor 650 to sport a larger fuel tank with a fuel capacity close to 20 litres. Moreover, the Meteor 650 motorcycle is likely to be available in two themes - One with plenty of chrome, while the other following a blacked-out theme.
We expect Royal Enfield to price the upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 650 motorcycle with a starting price of around Rs 3.00 lakh, ex-showroom.
Thoughts About Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Motorcycle
The launch of the Royal Enfield Meteor 650 motorcycle will attract a lot of customers looking for a powerful cruiser motorcycle at relatively affordable pricing.
