Royal Enfield Himalayan Now Offered In Three New Colour Options - There's One For Everyone
Chennai-based bike manufacturer Royal Enfield has unveiled three new colourways for the Himalayan adventure tourer motorcycle - Glacier Blue, Dune Brown & Sleet Black.
Chennai-based bike manufacturer Royal Enfield has revealed three new colourways for the Himalayan adventure tourer motorcycle. The three colour options are - Glacier Blue, Dune Brown and Sleet Black.
Bookings for the Royal Enfield Himalayan in the three new colourways are now open as are test rides for the same. The price for these new colourways for the Himalayan is Rs 2,15,900.
The three new colour options join the three other colour options already available with the Himalayan - Gravel Grey, Pine Green and Granite Black. The updated Himalyan also features a debossed logo on the grille and side panels along with a USB port.
Royal Enfield claims that the three new colourways of the Himalayan are inspired by the epic terrain, vastness and grandeur of the world's tallest mountain range. The Glacier Blue colourway is said to be inspired by the many crystal clear glacial lakes that dot the Himalayas while Dune Brown represents the cold Himalyan deserts of Hunder in the Nubra Valley. The new Sleet Black is said to be inspired by the the glistening razor-sharp sleet found on rock surfaces in the Himalayas.
Commenting on the launch of the new colourways for the Himalayan, B Govindarajan, Chief Executive Officer, Royal Enfield said "Launched in 2016, the Royal Enfield Himalayan has been a stellar performing motorcycle in our portfolio. Developed and designed from decades of experience of riding in the mountains, and thousands of kilometers of traversing some of the toughest terrain, the Himalayan has undoubtedly created a new segment of accessible adventure touring for riders across the world. A simple, versatile, go-anywhere motorcycle, the Himalayan has resonated well with millions of adventure aficionados and has brought in new riding enthusiasts into the Royal Enfield community. The reliable and consistent performance of the Himalayan coupled with the introduction of these new terrain-inspired hues will definitely add more colour to every adventure."
Royal Enfield is also readying the Super Meteor 650 for launch in India. First revealed at EICMA 2022 in Milan, Italy and later showcased at Rider mania, the Super Meteor 650 from Royal Enfield is expected to be launched in January 2023 with deliveries expected to commence the following month.
