New Ola S1 Pro ‘Gerua’: Available As An Holi Exclusive
Ola Electric has announced that the company will reopen the next purchase window on March 17-18 with a new 'Gerua' colour option to mark the Holi Celebration.
According to Ola Electric, this new colour option will be available only for two days (March 17, 18), making the Gerua an exclusive exterior paint.
Speaking about the Ola electric scooters, the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter is one of the most in-demand electric scooters in the market today and the company has received an overwhelming response to their first electric scooter range by receiving more than 1 lakh pre-bookings in just 24 hours after the company opened pre-bookings.
Also, Ola Electric has started to install 4000+ 'Hypercharger' charging networks across major cities in India to expand its charging network in the country. According to the CEO of Ola Electric, these Hyperchargers are being set up at BPCL pumps and residential complexes in major Indian cities for added convenience.
The first Hypercharger was launched by Ola Electric back in October 2021 and these Ola Hyperchargers will be free to use till June 2022.
According to Ola Electric, these Hyperchargers are capable of charging the Ola electric scooter batteries from 0 per cent to 50 per cent in just 18 minutes and the company claims it will add 75kms of range to the Ola electric scooters.
In addition to that, by using the dedicated Ola Electric app, the user of the Ola electric scooter will be able to monitor the charging status in real-time.
In terms of design, both the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro look futuristic with their clean and minimalist styling, but both variants look identical to each other. However, under the skin, both scooters carry slight differences as the Ola S1 is powered by a 2.98kWh battery pack, and the Ola S1 Pro uses a larger 3.97kWh battery pack for additional range.
In addition to that, there is a slight difference in the performance of the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro despite having a similar motor setup. This could be due to the additional 'Hyper'mode in the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter.
As a result, the Ola S1 Pro is slightly faster than the Ola S1 with an official 0-40km/h time of 3 seconds and a top speed of 115km/h. On the other hand, the Ola S1 takes 3.6 seconds to 40km/h and the top speed is just 90km/h.
Thanks to the larger battery pack, the official figures suggest the Ola S1 can cover 121kms on a single charge, whereas the Ola S1 pro can manage 181kms.
In terms of features, both the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro come with a list of features such as digital instrument cluster, alloy wheels, disc brakes, telescopic front suspension, reversing mode, cloud connectivity, keyless app-based access, LED headlights and many more. The Ola electric scooter also comes with a very practical and large 50-litre under-seat storage.
Thoughts About Ola S1 Pro Electric Scooter
The Ola Electric scooters have been a runaway success for the company and the scooter comes packed with class-leading range and an attractive price tag.
With the launch of the limited edition 'Gerua' colour option as a Holi exclusive, it is bound to attract even more buyers.
