New Ducati Scrambler Tribute 1100 Pro Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs 12.89 Lakh
Ducati Motor Company has launched the new Ducati Scrambler Tribute 1100 Pro in India and prices for this new Ducati scrambler motorcycle starts from Rs 12.89 Lakh (ex-showroom, India).
According to Ducati, the new 2022 Ducati Scrambler Tribute 1100 Pro is a special motorcycle and was created to pay homage to the history of the air-cooled, twin-cylinder engine motorcycles.
To make the new Ducati Scrambler Tribute 1100 Pro special, the scrambler motorcycle wears a unique "Giallo Ocra" livery with a black frame and sub-frame along with a brown seat.
Commenting on the launch of the new Ducati Scrambler Tribute 1100 Pro, Mr Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India said, "The Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO stays true to the Scrambler DNA while also paying homage to the history of the Borgo Panigale through the unique "Giallo Ocra" livery. Our first launch this year, the Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO is a distinctive offering celebrating the iconic air-cooled L-Twin engine and it's great that Ducatisti from India can also get their hands on this exclusive edition."
Speaking about the history of air-cooled twin-cylinder engines, these engines were first introduced back in 1971 with the introduction of the legendary Ducati 750 GT and the "Giallo Ocra" livery is a vogue livery at that time.
This livery was also used on other Ducati motorcycles such as the twin-cylinder 450 Desmo Mono and 750 Sport of 1972.
Thanks to this iconic styling, Ducati claims that the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO is a motorcycle created for people who love modern classic motorcycles and for fans of Ducati's rich history in motorsports.
In terms of changes, the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO uses the iconic 1970s Ducati logo that was designed by Giugiaro. To further add the classic vibe, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro comes with black spoked wheels, circular rear-view mirrors, and a brown seat with dedicated stitchings.
Powering the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO is a 1079 cc, L-twin, desmodromic, air-cooled engine that produces 85bhp of peak power at 7,500rpm and 90.2Nm of peak torque at 4,750 rpm.
Also, the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO comes equipped with features such as Twin side exhaust, Cast aluminium swingarm, Black painted aluminium covers, 18" spoked wheels at the front and 17" at the rear, Ducati specific Pirelli MT60 RS tyres, Bosch Cornering ABS, Traction Control, multiple ride modes, and many more.
Thoughts About The New Ducati Scrambler Tribute 1100 Pro
The new Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO does look a lot more desirable and it is a nice throwback to the iconic air-cooled Ducatis of the 1970s.
