Komaki Ranger & Venice Electric Two Wheelers Launched In India: Prices Start From Rs 1.15 Lakh
The Indian two-wheeler electric vehicle industry is growing rapidly in the country and there are more new entrants showing up in the segment than ever before. Apart from that, the demand for electric vehicles in the two-wheeler segment is also rising very rapidly thanks to the state and central government subsidies.
The newest models to enter the Indian two-wheeler EV segment are the Komaki Ranger electric bike and Komaki Venice electric scooter. According to Komaki, the Komaki Ranger electric bike is priced at Rs 1.68 lakh, whereas the Komaki Venice electric scooter is priced at Rs 1.15 lakh.
Both the Komaki Ranger electric bike and the Komaki Venice electric scooter come with a long list of accessories and most of these accessories come as standard fitment on these electric vehicles.
Apart from that, both the Komaki Ranger electric bike and the Komaki Venice electric scooter sport a retro theme. Out of the two electric vehicles from Komaki, it is the Komaki Venice electric scooter that looks a bit more attractive, thanks to its styling reminiscent of the Vespa.
From certain angles, the Komaki Venice electric scooter could be easily mistaken for a Vespa scooter, however, the presence of the hub motor and lack of exhaust is a quick giveaway.
Overall, the Komaki Venice electric scooter is a neo-retro themed electric scooter and comes with features such as LED headlamps, digital instrument display, Bluetooth connectivity for music, dedicated switchgear for music controls, Cruise Control, Parking mode, Reverse mode, Turbo mode, Split seats, Self-diagnosis and many more.
Powering the retro-themed Komaki Venice electric scooter is a 2.9kWh battery pack and a 4bhp electric motor. According to Komaki, the Komaki Venice electric scooter can do 120 kms on a full charge.
The Komaki Venice electric scooter also comes with a rear-mounted storage box, anti-theft locking system, mobile charging port, and regenerative braking.
The Komaki Ranger electric bike on the other hand is styled to look like a cruiser motorcycle with its round headlamps with chrome cowl, forward set footboards, tall handlebar, and teardrop-shaped tank.
Features-wise, the Komaki Ranger electric bike comes equipped with features such as split rear seats, rear backrest, panniers, LED headlamps, side stand sensor, mobile charging port, Cruise Control, Parking mode, Reverse mode, Turbo mode, telescopic suspension, digital instrument cluster and many more.
Powering the Komaki Ranger electric bike is a bigger 4kWh battery pack with a 5.36bhp electric motor. This setup gives the Komaki Ranger electric bike a claimed range of 180 kms to 220 kms.
Thoughts About Komaki Venice & Komaki Ranger
Both the Komaki Ranger and the Komaki Venice electric two-wheelers come with exceptionally good range back and offer a lot of features. However, both vehicles are on the expensive side, given the prices start from Rs 1.15 lakh for the Venice electric scooter and Rs 1.68 lakh for the Ranger e-bike.
