Kawasaki Z650 RS 50th Anniversary Edition Launched In India At Rs 6.79 Lakh: Exclusive New Colour
Kawasaki launches the Z650 RS 50th Anniversary Edition in India priced at Rs 6.79 lakh, ex-showroom. The special edition retro roadster motorcycle is offered in an exclusive Candy Diamond Brown paint scheme.
Bookings for the Z650 RS 50th Anniversary Edition can be made online or at dealerships with deliveries said to begin soon. Only 20 units will be brought to the Indian market.
The Anniversary Edition's unique paint scheme is inspired by the iconic Kawasaki Z1 motorcycle with the Firecracker Red paint scheme, which was very much in demand back in the day. The special edition motorcycle features a dual-tone fuel tank, anniversary edition badge on side cover and chrome finished grab-rails that sets it apart from the standard model of the motorcycle.
The Z650 RS 50th Anniversary Edition demands a premium of Rs 5,000 over the standard model pricing which retails at Rs 6.72 lakh, ex-showroom. Apart from the new paint scheme, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged from the standard model.

The motorcycle continues to feature a round-shaped headlamp and tail lamp with a fuel tank capacity of 12-litres.

The Z650 RS' instrumentation is handled via a semi-digital unit that features an LCD screen flanked by analogue dials on either side to retain the motorcycle's retro looks. The digital display offers a host of information to the rider including ODO and trip details.

The special edition motorcycle continues to come powered by a 649cc parallel-twin-cylinder engine; paired with a standard six-speed gearbox.
In terms of electronic rider aids, the Z650 RS features a dual-channel ABS.
