When launched, the Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition will be the range-topping variant in the Hero Xpulse range of motorcycles.
Earlier, Hero MotoCorp had introduced the Rally Kit for the Hero Xpulse 200 4V motorcycle and this special kit at the time of launch was priced at Rs 46,000. This kit adds a few extra bits to make the motorcycle far more off-road worth.
The Rally Kit includes upgrades such as Maxxis off-road tyres, rally-tuned suspension at both front and back, a flat and tall rally-style bench seat, handlebar risers, a longer side stand, and an extended gear pedal.
Thanks to these extensive modifications as part of the Rally Kit, the ground clearance of the Hero Xpulse 200 4V now stands at 275mm.
We expect, similar modifications to be present in the upcoming Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition. However, a few of the above parts such as the Maxxis off-road tyres could be reserved as 'kits'.

In comparison, the Hero Xpulse 200 puts out just 17bhp of peak power and 16.45Nm of peak torque from its 199.6cc, single-cylinder, two-valve engine.
In terms of hardware, the standard Hero Xpulse 200 4V comes with a 7-fin oil cooler for better heat management and an updated transmission with optimised gear ratios that suit the characteristics of the new engine.
