Hero Splendor+ Xtec launched At Rs 72,900 - Gets Digital Display With Bluetooth

The world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Motocorp has launched the Spendor+ Xtec in India. The Hero Splendor+ Xtec is priced at Rs 72,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Hero Splendor+ Xtec Feature Upgrade
The Hero Spendor+ is the latest to get the Xtec package from the nation's most popular two-wheeler manufacturer. The Hero Splendor+ Xtec features a new fully digital instrument panel with Bluetooth connectivity and support for incoming and missed call and SMS alerts along with a real time mileage indicator, two trips meters and a low fuel warning indicator. The new Splendor+ Xtec also features a USB charging port to ensure that riders can keep their mobiles topped up on the go.
Other new features on the new Hero Splendor+ Xtec include a side-stand indicator along with the side stand engine cutoff feature which cuts off the engine if the side stand is deployed. Another new safety feature comes in the form of a bank angle sensor that cuts off the engine during a fall.
In terms of design, the new Splendor Xtec+ gets a new LED high intensity position lamp and new graphics that distinguish the new Xtec model from the rest of the Splendor+ lineup. The new Hero Splendor+ Xtec is offered in four new colour schemes - Sparkling Beta Blue, Canvas Black, Tornado Grey and Pearl White.
Hero Splendor+ Xtec Engine, Suspension & Brakes
The Hero Splendor+ Xtec is powered by an air-cooled 97.2cc BS-VI compliant, single-cylinder engine that produces 7.9bhp at 7,000rpm and 8.05Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The engine features Hero's I3S engine-start-stop technology and is paired to a 4-speed gearbox.
The new Hero Splendor+ Xtec features telescopic front forks and a mono shock at the rear to take care of the rough stuff. Braking duties on the Splendor+ Xtec are taken care of by drum brakes on both wheels.
