Hero MotoCorp Sold 5 Lakh+ Two-Wheelers In September 2022
Hero MotoCorp has announced that it has dispatched 5,19,980 units of two-wheelers in September 2022. In comparison, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer sold 4,63,608 units of its two-wheelers in August 2022, and as a result, the company managed to register a MoM sales growth of 12.4 per cent.
In addition to that, Hero MotoCorp also claimed that it had sold more than 28 lakh units of two-wheelers from April 2022 to September 2022, registering a sales increase of more than 14 per cent as the company managed to sell 24 lakh units of its scooter during the same time period in the previous year.
We expect the sales figures to further increase this month due to the ongoing festive season offers and the sales push achieved during the festive season. Apart from that, the company has also launched a few updated models ahead of the festive season, the most recent one being the Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0.
Speaking about the Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0, the motorcycle is priced at Rs 1,29,738 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This updated 'Stealth' edition of the Hero Xtreme 160r motorcycle gets a new matte black colour scheme with plenty of red accents to make the motorcycle look a lot more menacing.
Though Hero MotoCorp has not introduced any mechanical changes to the newly launched Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0, the motorcycle does get Hero Connect cloud-connected technology. This system comes with features such as tow away alert, topple alert, driving score, geo-fencing, Hero Locate, trip analysis, vehicle start alert, speed alert, and live tracking.
Other noticeable features on the newly launched Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0 motorcycle include an inverted LCD console with adjustable brightness, LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, front and rear disc brakes and a few more.
Coming to the powertrain, the newly launched Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0 motorcycle continues to use the tried-and-tested 163cc, air-cooled, SOHC engine. This engine produces 15bhp of peak power at 8,500rpm and 14Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. Apart from that, the motorcycle also features a 5-speed gearbox.
Under the skin, the Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0 motorcycle comes with a tubular diamond frame, a 37mm telescopic suspension at the front, and a 7-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. Moreover, braking duties are taken care of by a 276mm petal disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear.
Coming to the tyres, the newly launched Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0 motorcycle comes fitted with a 100/80 R17 tyre at the front, and a 130/70 R17 tyre at the rear.
Thoughts About The Hero MotoCorp
Hero MotoCorp is the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the country, and with the ongoing festive season, we expect this Indian two-wheeler juggernaut to further increase its lead over other two-wheeler manufacturers with new launches and attractive offers. Though not the best seller, we expect the feature-loaded Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0 motorcycle to attract a lot of potential customers to the Hero MotoCorp showrooms across the country.
