India's largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Electric has teamed up with the ElectricPe charging platform to access the latter's EV charging network.
The two companies claim that with 2 million electric vehicles set to ply on Indian roads by the year 2026, building the infrastructure required to keep them charged up has become the paramount concern. The release by Hero Electric and ElectricPe states that the partnership will help fortify and build the existing charging infrastructure.
Speaking about the new partnership with ElectricPe, Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric, said, "A robust charging network is crucial for the growing EV sector for faster adoption of EVs across the segment. This association will provide a seamless charging and EV riding experience to customers by easing the accessibility through ElectricPe's charging points that are getting installed on a large scale across the country. With our vision and commitment to advancing the growth of EVs, we are working rigorously to scale up the charging infrastructure. We are confident that the partnership will aid in sustaining the push towards EVs and facilitate a smooth transition towards clean and green mobility solutions."

Thoughts On Hero Electric & ElectricPe's New Partnership
The new partnership between ElectricPe and Hero electric will see the latter's customers be able to use the former's EV charging network across the country in the future. While announcing new electric vehicles is all fun and dandy getting the infrastructure ready to keep these EVs running all the time is something that is a really serious matter.
