BMW F 850 GS & F 850 GS Adventure Launched In India - Prices Start At Rs 12.5 Lakh
German motorcycle manufacturer BMW Motorrad has launched the F 850 GS & F 850 GS Adventure in India. The BMW F850 GS is priced at Rs 12.5 lakh while the F 850 GS Adventure has a price tag of Rs 13.25 lakh.

Both the F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure are being imported into India as completely built up units (CBUs). Deliveries will start in the month of June 2022 and both bikes can be booked at your nearest BMW Motorrad dealership.
Speaking at the launch of the F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure, Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India said, "The world has no limits, and the GS has been built for riders to embark on a journey into the unknown. These GS legends are designed to live the challenge, ride on where others turn back and turn challenges into opportunities."
Both the F 850 GS and the GS Adventure draw power from an 853cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke parallel-twin engine with four valves per cylinder, double overhead camshafts and dry-sump lubrication. The engine on the F 850 GS series produces 94bhp at 8,000rpm and 92Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm.
The engine which features twin counterbalancers for better smoothness and spontaneous response characteristics is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Both the F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure are offered in the 'Pro' guise. This allows for 2 additional riding modes alongside the regular Road and Rain modes. These two 'Pro' riding modes are Dynamic & Enduro. Both bikes also come equipped with a host of safety features including ABS and automatic stability control. BMW also offers both bikes with dynamic traction control, electronically adjustable suspension and banking capable 'ABS Pro'.
Both the BMW F 850 GS & GS Adventure are offered with a 6.5-inch TFT display which allows riders to make telephone calls and listen to music on the go thanks to Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can also access vehicle and connectivity functions using the BMW Motorrad multi-controller. With the BMW Motorrad Connected app, owners can also get access to navigation directly on the TFT display.
The BMW F 850 GS is available in Rallye style with a Racing Blue metallic paint scheme. The F 850 GS Adventure is offered in either the Style Rallye with Kalamata metallic matt paintwork or the Style Triple Black package with the Black Storm metallic colour scheme.
