Electric motorcycle manufacturer Revolt Intellicorp will open new dealerships in five new cities across the country in the month of November. Revolt's new showrooms will be located in the cities of Kolkata, Coimbatore, Madurai, Vizag and Vijayawada.

By opening the new dealerships this month, Revolt Intellicorp will expand its network to 19 dealerships in 14 cities across 9 states in the country. In October, Revolt Intellicorp opened dealerships in three cities including Bangalore.

The new dealerships will allow customers in these five cities to purchase and service their Revolt Intellicorp electric motorcycles. The new dealerships will showcase Revolt Intellicorp's flagship RV400 electric motorcycle along with the more affordable RV300.

The Revolt RV400 is powered by a 3kW (Mid Drive) motor. The motor develops a peak torque of 170Nm, which is sent to the rear wheel with the help of a belt-drive setup.

The RV400's motor is connected to a 72V, 3.24KWh Lithium-Ion battery pack that allows the bike to travel for a maximum of 156 kilometres on a single charge.

The Revolt RV400's battery pack can be charged from 0-75 per cent in three hours while a full charge raises increases the time plugged into the mains to four and half hours. For customers looking to avoid all the time need to fill up the battery pack with power, Revolt offers a battery swapping facility.

The RV400 delivers its 156 kilometre maximum range figure when the bike is in eco mode. This mode limits the performance of the electric motorcycle with the RV400 topping out at just 45km/h.

For those looking for more performance, the Revolt RV400 is offered with two more riding modes — Normal and Sports. In normal mode, the bike increases its top speed by 20km/h to 65km/h. However, in normal mode, the range dips by over 50 kilometres to just 100 kilometres.

For those wanting to go even faster, the Revolt RV400's Sport mode increases the electric bike's maximum speed to 85km/h. However, riding around in Sport mode will also send the bike's range tumbling by another 20 kilometres to just 80 kilometres on a single charge.

The Revolt RV400 comes packed with a host of features including a fully digital instrument cluster that shows on the go details about the bike including speed, range, bike temps and ambient temperature.

The RV400 from Revolt Intellicorp also features a full LED lighting setup with the headlights, indicators and taillights all sporting the power saving light system.

Other features on the Revolt RV400 include as part of the MyRevolt App. The app allows RV400 owners to customise the sound emitted by their electric bike with four different sound profiles. Other features enabled through the app include geo-fencing, swipe to remote start and access to riding data about previous rides.

Revolt's other electric bike is the RV300. The Revolt RV300 is powered by a less powerful draws power from a smaller 1.5kW motor that is connected to a 2.7kWh battery pack. The Revolt RV300 has a top speed of 65km/h and a range of 180 kilometres. The Revolt RV300 soon be replaced by the Made in India RV1, which will be the company's new entry-level motorcycle.
