Revolt RV400 Prices Dropped By Rs 28,200: Bookings Reopen From June 18

Revolt Intellicorp drops the RV400 price by Rs 28,200 after the FAME II Incentive revision. The brand's flagship motorcycle now retails at Rs 90,799, ex-showroom.

The company has not announced any price drop with the RV300. Recently, the company has announced the reopening of booking for RV400 and RV300 from June 18, 12PM. The booking amount is now set at Rs 7,999 and Rs 7,199, respectively.

Speaking about the motorcycles, before the FAME II policy revision, the RV400 retailed at Rs 1.19 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Revolt RV400 features a 3.24kWh lithium-ion battery paired with a 3kW electric motor. This return a maximum riding range of 156km on a single charge (claimed). The motorcycle can reach a top speed of 85km/h.

Moving to the mechanical hardware, the RV400 features Upside Down (USD) forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear adjustable for pre-load. Braking on the motorcycle is done via a 240mm disc brake at either end supported by the Combine Braking System (CBS).

Sales Expansion

The RV300 and RV400 are currently available in six cities. This includes Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. The company recently announced fresh funding of Rs 150 crore. With the new funding, Revolt is gearing up to expand to 35 cities across the country.

FAME II Subsidy Revision

Recently, the Indian Government increased the FAME II incentives from Rs 10,000 per kWh to Rs 15,000 per kWh of the battery pack used in the electric scooter. The incentives increased by 50 per cent, which helped the automakers to reduce the prices of their existing products.

Many electric two-wheeler manufacturers responded to the FAME II incentive revision including Okinawa Autotech. They has reduced the prices of their scooters by over Rs 17,000 — here is the model-wise new price list.

Thoughts About The Revolt RV400 Price Drop

The Revolt RV400 becomes substantially cheaper after the FAME II subsidy revision. The electric motorcycle now offers packed performance, feature and value for money. The bike now almost priced close to some of the popular IC engine-powered model sold in India such as the Bajaj Pulsar 125.
