Revolt Electric Bike Bookings Reopen: Over 5,000 RV400 Units Sold In 2 Hours

UPDATE: Revolt Intellicorp sells 50 crores worth of RV400 electric motorcycles in just 2 hours. Bookings for the motorcycle are closed after reopening earlier today (June 18, 2021). The deliveries of the booked motorcycles will start from September 2021.

Recently, the company also dropped the prices for the RV400. It now retails at Rs 90,799, ex-showroom (Delhi). As a result, the company has sold roughly over 5,000 units within 2 hours.

Interested buyers can still register for the next phase of bookings on the brand's website using the "Notify Me" option.

DELHI: Revolt Intellicorp announces the reopening of bookings for electric motorcycle from June 18 at 12:00 p.m. Bookings for the RV400 and RV300 can be made online on the brand's website. Customers can also register for the start of bookings by getting notified from the Revolt website.

Availability & Deliveries

The RV300 and RV400 electric motorcycles are currently available in six cities. This includes Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.

The company has also promised to prepone the delivery dates for existing bookings. This is being done by increasing the production capacities at the brand's manufacturing facility in Manesar, Haryana.

Bookings which were slated to be delivered in the latter part of 2021, have been moved to the coming weeks. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom (Delhi).

Revolt RV400

It is the top variant motorcycle and retails at Rs 1.19 lakh. The booking amount is now set at Rs 7,999.

The Revolt RV400 features a 3.24kWh lithium-ion battery paired with a 3kW electric motor. This return a maximum riding range of 156km on a single charge (claimed). The motorcycle can reach a top speed of 85km/h.

Revolt RV300

The base variant motorcycle retails at Rs 94,999. The booking amount is now set at Rs 7,199. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom (Delhi).

The Revolt RV300 features a smaller 2.7kWh lithium-ion battery paired to a 1.5kW electric motor. This return a maximum riding range of 180km on a single charge (claimed). The motorcycle can reach a top speed of 65km/h.

Features & Technology

Both motorcycles feature comes loaded with LED headlamps, LED taillights, and a fully digital instrument cluster. Both the models feature three riding modes: Eco, Normal and Sport.

The RV400 further features Bluetooth connectivity and AI-enabled technology as well. The instrument cluster is equipped with a 4G enabled e-sim for OTA software updates, live vehicle tracking, vehicle diagnostics, GPS navigation and more.

Future Plans

Revolt is currently backed by RattanIndia Enterprises. The company recently announced fresh funding of Rs 150 crore. With the new funding, Revolt is gearing up to expand to 35 cities across the country.
