Honda CB200X Review Video — USD Forks & 17bhp: Ideal For Off-Road Usage? Watch The Video!
Honda Two-Wheelers India has launched its entry-level adventure tourer, the CB200X in India at Rs 1.44 lakh, ex-showroom (India). The new motorcycle is based on the brand's Hornet 2.0 naked bike.
The CB200X is available in a single trim with three colour options: Pearl Nightstar Black Matte Selene Silver Metallic Sports Red. Honda has done a fabulous job with the design of the motorcycle by not going overboard with the ADV looks.
The CB200X features tank shrouds, a tall windscreen, a small front beak underneath the headlamps, which gives it a disctictive ADV look. Further enhancing the front design are the Gold-finished forks, alloy wheels and the petal disc brakes that means the business.
Other design features include the split seats, grab rails, dual-tone tank, graphics on the tank and side cover, X-shaped LED taillamps, a chunky looking saree guard and an up-swept stubby exhaust.
The features list on the CB200X is not long and does miss out on connectivity options or even a mobile USB charger. However, because of its ADV setup, the motorcycle receives functional knuckle guards with integrated LED turn indicators right from the factory. It also features a fully digital instrument cluster that offers an ample amount of information.
Coming to the specifications of the CB200X, it is powered by a 184cc single-cylinder engine; paired with a standard five-speed gearbox.

- Peak torque: 16.1Nm @ 6000rpm
The ADV motorcycle is offered with a USD front fork at the front and a mono-shock with pre-load adjustability at the rear. Braking duties are handled via 276mm and 220mm petal disc at the front and rear, respectively. The CB200X comes with single-channel ABS as standard.
Currently, the Honda CB200X does not have direct rivals. However, it can be compared to the Hero Xpulse 200. The CB200X has a more on-road biased setup, while the Xpulse 200 has an off-road biased setup.
Due to the increase in demand for ADV motorcycles in the country, Honda has pitted the CB200X in India. Whether it will be a winner for the brand remains to be seen. For now, watch our review video of the Honda CB200X and drop in your comments below.
