Bajaj Auto launched the Pulsar 180F Bs6 variant last year in the month of April. The company launched the Pulsar 180F BS6 model at Rs 1.08 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The motorcycle featured an electronic fuel injection system instead of a carbureted one. However, the Pulsar 180F Bs6 model has been discontinued from the Indian market.
This news can be confirmed as the Pulsar 180F is no longer available on the company's official website. Instead, now it only has the 220F as the only half-faired motorcycle listed on its website. The reason for the 180F getting discontinued may be because of the pricing, as it was expensive for a half-faired motorcycle. And also the sales for the 180F was not that great after it was launched.
Powering the Pulsar 180F was the BS6 compliant 178.6 cc engine that produced 16.8bhp of power and 14.52Nm of peak torque, which were similar figures when compared to the BS4 compliant engine. The engine comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle featured a telescopic, anti-friction bush set up at the front and five-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 260mm disc at the front, and 230mm disc at the rear. It was available in colour options of Black Red and Neon Orange.
Thoughts About The Bajaj Pulsar 180F BS6 Model Getting Discontinued In India
We are very impressed with the efficiency with which Bajaj works. The brand has been at the forefront of the BS6 revolution in the country. The Pulsar 180F made no loss in power and performance numbers after the BS6 upgrades, but sadly, the company had to pull the string on the motorcycle due to less demand.
