Bajaj Platina & CT Motorcycle Line-Up Receives Second Price Hike This Year: Here’s The New Price List
Bajaj Auto has increased the prices of the Platina and the CT motorcycles line-up in the Indian market. The company has increased the prices of these commuter motorcycles ranging between Rs 750 and Rs 1,700.
Starting with the brand's entry-level motorcycle, the CT100 has received a price hike of Rs 1,498 and now retails at Rs 49,152, ex-showroom (Delhi). On the other hand, its elder sibling the CT 110 is available in two variants: Alloy and Alloy X.
The Bajaj CT110 Alloy and the Alloy X have received a price hike of Rs 1,696 and Rs 1,356. After the price hike both variants of the CT110 motorcycle retail At Rs 53, 498 and Rs 55,494. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom (Delhi).
The CT 100 BS6 is powered by an air-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected 102cc engine. It produces a maximum power of 7.5bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 8.34Nm at 5,500rpm. The engine comes mated to a standard four-speed gearbox.
The CT 110 is powered by a 115.45cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder that produces a maximum power of 8.4bhp at 7000rpm and a peak torque of 9.81Nm at 5000rpm. The engine comes mated to a standard four-speed gearbox.
The brand's Platina motorcycle line-up has also received the price hike for the second time this year. Starting with the Platina 100, the motorcycles is offered in two variants: Alloy & Drum. Both of them have received a price hike of Rs 749, which is the lowest among all models. They now retail at Rs 52,915 and Rs 54,669, ex-showroom (Delhi).
The top-spec motorcycle models of the Platina range, the 110 ES have received a price hike of Rs 1,504. The Platina 110 ES now retails at Rs 67,424. However, the Platina 110 H-Gear model has decreased in its pricing by Rs 877. It now retails at Rs 63,424. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom (Delhi).
The Platina 100 is powered by an air-cooled, single-cylinder, e-carburated 102cc engine. It produces 7.5bhp of power and 8.34Nm of torque and comes mated to a standard four-speed gearbox.
Moving to the specification and features of the Platina 110 BS6 motorcycle, as mentioned before the motorcycle remains largely similar to its BS4 counterparts. It is powered by an updated version of the same 115.45cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, that now features an electronic carburettor.

The CT and the Platina motorcycle line-up are the brand's entry-level models sold in the Indian market. All models have received a substantial price hike with a couple of months. Despite the price hike, they are also among the most affordable models available in the country.
