TVS Motor Company has increased the prices of the Ntorq 125 scooter marginally by Rs 910. The TVS Ntorq 125 which was recently updated to comply with the BS6 emission norms is now available at a starting price of Rs 66,885, ex-showroom (Delhi).
The prices have been increased across all variants of the Ntorq 125 scooter in the Indian market. The scooter is offered in three variants: Drum, Disc and Race Edition. The top-spec ‘Race Edition' model is priced at Rs 73,365, ex-showroom (Delhi). TVS has updated the prices of the Ntorq 125 on its official website as well.
Apart from the hike in prices, no other changes have been made to the TVS Ntorq 125. The scooter continues to be powered by a BS6-compliant 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It produces 9.1bhp at 7000rpm and 10.5Nm of torque at 5,500rpm, paired with a CVT gearbox.
As part of the BS6 update, the TVS Ntorq 125 weighs in at 118kg, slightly heavier (1.9kg) than its BS4 predecessor. TVS has also increased the fuel tank capacity on the Ntorq 125 from 5-litres to 5.8-litres, which along with the improved efficiency of the BS6 engine, should return excellent mileage figures.
Apart from the TVS Ntorq 125, the brand also recently updated the prices of the Apache RTR 160 4V, Apache RTR 200 4V, Radeon and the Sport motorcycles. While the two Apache RTR models received a slightly more significant price hike of around Rs 2,500, the Radeon and the Sport received a smaller hike of Rs 750.
Apart from the price hikes, TVS recently also announced a new finance scheme for their XL100 moped in the Indian market.
