Triumph Tiger 900 India Launch In April: Details And Expected Price

The major difference between the GT and the Rally Pro models are the Marzocchi suspension units and the Showa suspension units on the GT Pro and the Rally Pro, respectively. Both motorcycle arrive with Brembo Stylema calipers, that are also featured on the Ducati Panigale V4.

Both motorcycles arrive with an IMU based ABS system, feature ABS co-developed with Continental, a bi-directional quick shifter, and arrive with six riding modes - Rain, Rider, Road, Sport, Off-Road, and Off-Road Pro.

Both models are powered by a new BS6 compliant 888cc inline three-cylinder engine that bring with it a new 1-3-2 firing order (1-2-3 on the older 800cc engine).

The new engine produces 94 brake horsepower and 87Nm of torque. The older 800cc engines produce 94 brake horsepower and 79Nm of torque. The torque kicks in at 7250rpm on the 900 as compared to 8050rpm on the older engines.

The engine continues to arrive mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The Triumph Tiger 800 models are priced between Rs 12 Lakh and Rs 1.03 lakh, and we expect the 900 models to be priced between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 16.5 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.

In Triumph related news, the company officially partnered with Bajaj Auto last month and is working toward launching a 200cc motorcycle that will be priced under the Rs 2 lakh mark.
