Delhi based electric vehicle manufacturer BattRE launched a few electric scooters, while Okinawa announced the launch plans for its upcoming electric motorcycle. Like most manufacturers, KTM has also increased prices of all the motorcycles in the brand's line-up. Here are all the details:

BMW F 900 R & F 900 XR Launched In India
BMW F 900 R and the F900 XR has been launched in the Indian market. The BMW F 900 R naked middle-weight roadster and the F 900 XR sports tourer retails at a starting price of Rs Rs 9.90 lakh and Rs 10.50 lakh, ex-showroom (India), respectively.

Both motorcycle share most of its components between them including the 895cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin-cylinder engine. It produces a maximum power of 105bhp at 8,500rpm, and a peak torque of 92 Nm at 6,500rpm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with slipper assist clutch — here are more details.

Kawasaki Versys 1000 BS6 Launched In India
Kawasaki India has launched the Versys 1000 BS6 motorcycle in the India market. The adventure-touring motorcycle now retails at a price of Rs 10.99 lakh, ex-showroom (India). The 2020 Versys carries forward all features from its BS4 counterpart.

The 1,043cc, liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine has been updated to meet BS6 emission standards. It now produces a maximum power of 118bhp at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 102Nm at 7,500rpm, and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with slip assist clutch. BattRE GPSie Electric Scooter Launched In India
Delhi based electric two-wheeler manufacture BattRE have partnered with a California-based firm called Aeris communication to launch new electric scooters in the Indian market. Called the GPSie retails at a starting price of Rs 64,990 ex-showroom.

The highlight of these new electric scooters is that they feature connected technology jointly developed under the partnership. As a result, the scooter offers a host of features including GPS tracking. The scooter comes equipped with a Lithium Fero Phosphate battery paired to a brushless DC motor — here are more details.

KTM Increases Prices Of Entire Range Of Motorcycles
KTM India has announced a price increase for its entire range of motorcycle sold in the country. The increase in price ranges between Rs 4,000 and Rs 5,000. We expect the price increase could be due to the lockdown.

Okinawa Oki100 Electric Motorcycle Expected To Launch This Year
Okinawa electric motorcycle is expected to launch sometime during this year in the Indian market. The motorcycle was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo and has been under development ever since.

The company has also announced that their upcoming motorcycle will have parts made in India expect the battery pack. The decision has been made by the company to support PM Modi's ‘Local For Vocal' initiative.
