However, as per the images posted by Rushlane, it is seen that the updated version of the Royal Enfield Himalayan has been spotted testing once again in Chennai. According to the report, the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan is equipped with the Tripper Navigation feature that debuted on the recently launched Meteor. The Tripper Navigation is a smartphone-enabled turn-by-turn navigation system.

The suspension is through a standard set of 41mm telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock setup at the rear. The motorcycle offers an impressive amount of suspension travel as well; 200mm at the front and 180mm at the rear. Braking is handled by 300mm discs at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS as standard.

Powering the Himalayan is the same BS6-compliant 411cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. The unit produces 24bhp of power and 32Nm of peak torque and is mated to a five-speed gearbox.

A while ago, Royal Enfield hiked the prices of its BS6-compliant Himalayan adventure-tourer motorcycle in India. The 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan BS6 motorcycle is now offered with a starting price of Rs 1.91 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi), after receiving a hike of Rs 1,836. This price hike is constant across all paint schemes on offer. This includes Granite Grey, Snow White, Sleet Grey, Gravel Grey, Rocky Red & Lava Blue.
