2021 Royal Enfield Continental GT650 Spied Ahead Of Launch: Spy Pics & Details

Royal Enfield is looking to give its popular 650-twins a mid-cycle refresh. Both motorcycles were introduced back in 2018 and since then have gone on to become extremely popular offerings from the brand, both in the domestic and international markets.

The company is now said to be working on introducing subtle updates to both the 650cc offerings for the Indian market. Among them, the Continental GT650 model has now been spied undergoing testing in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Spy pics from Rushlane, showcase the Continental GT650 finished in black, with little to no badging anywhere on the motorcycle. While there has been no official statement regarding an upcoming update on either of the two 650cc models, the spy pics do indicate otherwise.

However, the update on the Royal Enfield Continental GT650 could be subtle. With both motorcycles performing well in terms of sales, expect the brand to bring in just minor updates. This could come in the form of cosmetic changes, such as new colour options, slight tweaks to the suspension and engine setup and others.

Having said that, we do expect one significant update on the Continental GT650, which is the addition of the Tripper Navigation. The new navigation pod first debuted on the instrument cluster of the recently introduced Meteor 350.

Considering that the 650-twins are the brand's flagship offerings, we do expect both models to receive the tripper navigation feature at some point in the near future.

Apart from the above feature addition, Royal Enfield could also introduce the Continental GT650 and Interceptor 650 with factory-fitted alloy wheels. Both motorcycles are currently offered with spoked wheels as standard, with alloy wheels offered as an optional accessory.
