2021 Ducati Scrambler Range Unveiled: India Launch Expected Soon
Ducati has globally unveiled their 2021 Scrambler range of motorcycles. The 2021 Ducati Scrambler range now comes with a number of subtle updates, revisions, added features and equipment; making it a more attractive offering than before.

Apart from the cosmetic and other subtle feature additions, the 2021 Ducati Scrambler range now comes with a brand new ‘Nightshift' variant. This new trim will be available alongside the Icon, Icon Dark and the Desert Sled models also offered in the range.

All four variants on the new 2021 Ducati Scrambler range are now powered by an updated version of the 800cc engine, which is now compliant with the stringent Euro-5 (BS6 equivalent) emission standards.
The engine comes in the form of an 803cc L-twin air-cooled unit producing 72bhp at 8250rpm and 66Nm of peak torque at 5750rpm. It is mated to a standard six-speed gearbox.

The motorcycles further feature 41mm upside down forks from Kayaba, while the rear features a mono-shock unit again from Kayaba. The rear suspension unit also comes with preload adjustability, with both the front and rear setup offering 150mm of travel.
Braking on the motorcycle is handled by a 330mm disc at the front and a 245mm disc at the rear. The 2021 Scrambler range also comes with cornering ABS from Bosch.

The Nightshift and Desert Sled variants of the 2021 Ducati Scrambler range feature spoke aluminium wheels, while the Icon variants come with alloys. The motorcycles ride on 18-inch wheels at the front and 17-inch wheels at the rear, wrapped in Pirelli tyres.
The new Nightshift variant receives a new Aviation Grey paint scheme, along with narrow handlebars, missing rear fender, cafe-racer style mirrors and full-throttle style number plates.

The 2021 Scrambler models also features an LCD display for the instrument cluster, LED lighting all around. The Icon and Desert Sled variants also come with a number of new vibrant paint schemes.

The Desert Sled model now features a new ‘Sparkling Blue paint scheme. The 2021 Scrambler Icon variant now comes in a new ‘Ducati Red' colour option, which will be available alongside the standard Yellow scheme.

Thoughts On The 2021 Ducati Scrambler Range
While there is no official word yet on Ducati bringing the 2021 Scrambler range to Indian shores. We expect the models to be introduced sometime before mid-2021. Ducati has already launched the larger 1100cc versions of the Scrambler in the Indian market earlier this year.
