The MV Agusta Superveloce 800 motorcycle is based on the same chassis that underpins the F3 800 model from the company's line-up. The Superveloce 800 features a vintage design that dates back to the 1970s where the motorcycle during the era featured a round-shaped headlamp, and a bubble windscreen as well.

The standard motorcycle comes powered by a 798cc in-line three-cylinder engine. It produces a maximum power of 145bhp at 13,000rpm and a peak torque of 88Nm at 10,600rpm. However, the limited edition Serie Oro features an Arrow exhaust system with a remapped ECU, which increases the maximum power to 150bhp at 13,250rpm. The placement of exhaust has changed on the limited-edition motorcycle. The Serie Oro features two exhausts on the right and one on the left, as compared to all three at the right side on the standard model.

The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox supported by a slipper assist clutch and a bi-directional quick shifter for clutchless shifting. The motorcycle features a host of electronic rider aids. These include four power modes, eight-level of traction control adjustment, and a Bosch 9 Plus ABS with race mode & rear-wheel lift mitigation.

It also features 17-inch wire-spoked alloy wheels shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tyres.
