Kawasaki's Z900 took the ‘best-selling' position with 71 sold against 39 units during the same month last year - an impressive 82 per cent growth. Kawasaki also registered 20 units of the Z650, 18 units of Ninja 650, 12 units of Vulcan S, and 13 units of ZX-10RR for sales figures.

The 2020 Kawasaki Z900 features H2 inspired LED headlights, a tweaked tail end, and other cosmetic updates. The biggest additions to the motorcycle are multiple riding modes, traction control, and engine power adjustability.

The motorcycle arrives with four riding modes - Road, Rain, Sport, and Rider. Each mode offers a different power map and ABS setting. The Rider mode allows for a rider to set up the motorcycle according to their preference. Riding modes can be switched on the move.

The new traction control settings arrive with three modes - one, which is fantastic for dry roads and sports riding; two, which is offers a sporty ride and better stability; and three, which is best suited to wet weather conditions.

Power selection is available in two modes - Full, that offers the entire range of 123 horses at disposal; and Low, that offers roughly 67 brake horse power to the throttle (best suited for wet weather conditions).

At the heart of the machine is a 948cc DOHC, 16 valve, inline four-cylinder engine that produce 123 brake horsepower and 98.6Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Suspension is handled by a set of 41mm upside down forks at the front, and mono-shock at the rear. Both are rebound damping and spring preload adjustable. Braking duties are handled by a 300mm disc at the front and a 250mm disc at the rear. While Kawasaki offers ABS as standard, the motorcycle misses out on cornering ABS.
