Kawasaki Ninja 650 Receives New Colour Scheme In India: Here Are All The Details
Kawasaki India has introduced a new colour scheme to its Ninja 650 motorcycle in the Indian market. The middleweight sports bike now receives a new paint scheme called Lime Green at no additional cost.
The new Lime Green paint scheme introduced on the Ninja 650 features three colours Black, White and the signature Kawasaki Green on the motorcycle along with red accents. The headlamp cowl, front fender and the fuel tank are all finished in green and black colour, while the bottom part of the fairing features a white paint.
The new paint scheme features red accents across various parts of the motorcycle such as the headlamps cowl, front and rear fairing as well. Apart from the new colour, no other changes have been made.
With the new paint scheme added to the motorcycle, buyers now get an option to choose from three different colours. The other two colour options offered on the Ninja 650 BS6 are Lime Green / Ebony and Pearl Flat Stardust White.
The BS6 Ninja 650 was launched recently and retails at Rs 6.24 lakh, ex-showroom (India), which is Rs 35,000 more expensive than the BS4 model. The motorcycle can be booked online or at the dealerships for a token amount of Rs 49,000.
The 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is powered a 649cc parallel-twin-cylinder engine. It produces a maximum power of 68bhp at 8000rpm and a peak torque of 65.7Nm at 6700rpm. The engine comes mated to a standard six-speed gearbox.
The Japenese sports bike has also undergone a few design revisions. This includes a sharper-looking faring, restyled headlamps and an updated graphics. The motorcycle features LED headlamps and tail lamps as well.
Other features include a new 4.3-inch coloured TFT instrument display that supports the brand's latest iteration of connected technology. The instrument cluster comes with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to connect their phones using Kawasaki's Rideology app.
It offers a host of information including rider telemetry data along with standard data such as ODO and trip details. The seats on the 2020 Ninja 650 has been updated to offer a more comfortable ride than the pervious-gen models.
Suspension duties on the motorcycle will be handled by a telescopic fork at the front and a mono-shock setup at the rear. Braking is done via petal discs at both ends supported by dual-channel ABS. The 2020 Ninja 650 also comes equipped with a set of Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres as standard.
