The company also launched a delivery estimator back in January to provide an approximate time of arrival to its customers. However, the motorcycle deliveries have been delayed due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

According to the recent video posted in Rushlane, the motorcycle has been spotted testing after the launch. The reports suggest the retro-motorcycle could still be awaiting approval for homologation from ARAI. This could result in motorcycles taking a little longer to reach its customers.

However, Jawa dealerships across the country have the Perak on display and are offering test rides of the motorcycle as well. All in all, the motorcycle is expected to have a longer wait time if one is looking to purchase the motorcycle.

The engine comes mated to a standard six-speed gearbox. In comparison, the engine on the Perak is 41cc larger than the ones on Jawa 300 and the Forty-Two. It also produces 3bhp and 3Nm of torque more than its younger siblings.

Thoughts About The Jawa Perak Bobber Motorcycle Continues With Testing Phase

The Jawa Perak is a one of kind motorcycle offering in the Indian market at the price range. The bobber does not have any direct rivals in the market, however, it will soon be joined by a couple of new motorcycles from Royal Enfield in the coming months. With the restrictions lifted, we expect the wait time to reduce in the coming weeks.
