American motorcycle manufacturer, Indian Motorcycle, has said that it will be ready to launch its BS6 range of motorcycles only closer to the end of the year.

According to Autocar India, the brand has no BS6 compliant motorcycles to offer since the 1 April deadline. The Polaris owned manufacturer also said they are unable to set a deadline given the current Covid-19 situation.

Mr Lalit Sharma, the Head of Polaris India said that a timeline is hard to define because of the global uncertainty, however the Scout range of motorcycles would be the first lot of BS6 bikes that will be launched in the country.
