Ducati Panigale V2 White Rosso Colour Scheme Won't Make Its Way To Our Shores
Ducati had teased the Panigale V2 earlier this year in April. The motorcycle was supposed to launch after the teaser video, but, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ducati had to postpone the launch. However, the Italian bike maker has announced that it will launch the Panigale V2 in August 2020. Dealers have already started accepting bookings for an amount of Rs 1 lakh.
This will be the first Ducati in India that will meet the BS6 norms. Earlier this month, Ducati unveiled its Panigale V2 White Rosso. The Panigale V2 will replace the 959 Panigale as the brand's entry-level supersport motorcycle in the country. However, according to a recent report by Zigwheels, the company will not be launching the White Rosso colour scheme for the Panigale V2 in India for the time being.
So, buyers will have to go for the signature Ducati red colour scheme for the entry-level sportbike launching next month in the country. The Ducati Panigale V2 will be featuring the brand's signature projector headlights, air dams, and V-shaped DRLs at the front. The new fairing structure allows for more efficient air dams.
Moving on, the motorcycle will also be getting a 4.3-inch TFT display for an instrument cluster, a seat that is longer by 20mm than the 959, and an under-slung exhaust. Braking duties are handled by Brembo M4.32 monobloc callipers, and Brembo master cylinders with dual discs at the front, and a single disc brake at the rear.
Mechanically, the Ducati Panigale V2 is powered by a 955cc Superquadro L-twin engine. The unit produces 155bhp of power and 104Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle also borrows the entire electronics kit from the previous generation 959 model, but with a reworked traction control system that performs more efficiently.
Other features include The Panigale Vs's electronics package includes MU-assisted traction control (called the Ducati Traction Control EVO 2), wheelie control, and cornering ABS.
Thoughts About The Ducati Panigale V2 White Rosso Not Coming To India
The White Rosso does add more character to the Ducati Panigale V2, but unfortunately, the company is not launching this colour scheme at the moment. We hope that the company launched this colour scheme in India soon. Also, now the new BS6 compliant engine makes 5bhp more than the older BS4 compliant ones.
