Ranger Korat has come up with a scrambler version of Interceptor 650. As seen in the images, the motorcycle features chopped-off fenders at both ends. It also gets a bright yellow paint job on the tank which looks spectacular. At the front, the motorcycle features a twin headlight set up with the number 23 engraved on the visor.

Moving on, the motorcycle features a custom handlebar, bash plate, and a custom seat with contrast yellow stitching. It also gets auxiliary lights on the crash guard for touring purposes, a custom two into one exhaust system and studded dual-purpose tyres. Overall, the custom RE scrambler looks badass, but mechanically, it remains the same.

Royal Enfield recently updated its 650 twins to meet BS6 emission norms in India. The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT650 are powered by the same 649cc air and oil-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine. The unit produces a maximum power of 47bhp at 7,250rpm and a peak torque of 52Nm at 5,250rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox, and features a slipper-clutch.

In related news, the BS6-compliant version of its best-selling model, the Classic 350, was also launched in the Indian market at Rs 1.65 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The Classic 350 BS6 is powered by an updated version of the same 346cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. The engine produces 19.8bhp of power and 28Nm of peak torque and is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
