Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 Motorcycle With Split Seats Arrives At Dealerships: India Launch Expected Soon
Bajaj Auto launched the entry-level Pulsar 125 in the Indian market back in August 2019. Since then the Bajaj Pulsar 125 has received an overwhelming response in the country, accounting for much of the sales of the Pulsar range of motorcycles.
In view of its success, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 split seat was introduced in select states across the country, which received an even bigger welcome. Now, 91Wheels has released images of the BS6-compliant version of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 split-seat variant.
According to reports, the new split-seat variant of the Pulsar 125 BS6 has started arriving in dealerships, indicating a launch in the Indian market in the coming weeks.
The new BS6-compliant Bajaj Pulsar 125 with the split seats will now be available across the country and not just limited to certain states as before. Apart from the engine update, the split-seat variant also comes with a few minor cosmetic changes, especially when compared to its Neon BS6 sibling.
This includes a new set of pillion grab rails, body graphics on the front cowl and on the fuel tank extensions. The Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 split-seats now looks identical to its larger sibling, the Pulsar 150.
In terms of mechanicals, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 split-seat variant carries forward the same 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine from its Neon variant. The engine will produce the same 11bhp of power and 11Nm of peak torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox.
The new Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 split-seat variant will also carry forward new paint schemes as well. This includes Black with Red, Black with Orange and Black with Silver colour options.
Bajaj hasn't yet updated their official website with the new BS6-compliant split-seat variant of the Pulsar 125. The current BS6-compliant Pulsar 125 Neon motorcycle is priced at around Rs 75,494, ex-showroom (Delhi). We expect the split-seat variant of the motorcycle to be priced slightly higher by around Rs 5,000.
Thoughts On The Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 Split Seat Variant
The Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 split seat variant will be positioned above the Neon trim of the entry-level motorcycle. Once launched in India, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 will take on rivals such as the KTM Duke 125 in the Indian market, along with a few other premium commuter bikes as well.
