Bajaj Announces Second Price Hike For Select Models After BS6 Update: Here Is The New Price List
Bajaj Auto has announced prices increase on select BS6 models in the Indian market. This is the second time that the company is increasing the prices for its models after the BS6 update. However, some models have remained unaffected with the second time price hike.
Starting with entry-level commuter models such as the CT 100 and the Platina 100, both motorcycle has received a price increase of around Rs 2,000. The CT100 now retails between Rs 44,378 and Rs 52,058, while the Platina 100 costs Rs 50,848 and Rs 61,082 after the price hike.
Moving to the elder siblings of both entry-level motorcycles, the CT 110 and the Platina 110 H-Gear. Bajaj has increased the prices for both motorcycles between Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500. The BS6 Platina 110 H-Gear is now priced at Rs 62,899. The CT 110 is available in multiple variants and is now priced between Rs 49,907 and Rs 52,179.
The company's popular Pulsar range is also affected by the price increase. We already reported the new price list for the brand's popular Pulsar 150 model — here are all details. In addition to this, the entry-level Pulsar 125 received a new top-of-the-line split seat trim that widens the price range. However, it has not received any increase in its prices.
The Bajaj Pulsar 180F and the Pulsar 220F models have seen an increase in its pricing. The motorcycle prices are hiked by a maximum of up to Rs 1,500. The new prices for Pulsar 180F and the Pulsar 220F are Rs 1.11 lakh and Rs 1.21 lakh, respectively.
The Pulsar NS160, Pulsar NS200 and the Pulsar RS200 models have been affected by the price increase as well. The price hike announced is up to a maximum of Rs 1,500. The Pulsar NS160, Pulsar NS200 and the Pulsar RS200 now retail at Rs 1.07 lakh, Rs 1.29 lakh & Rs 1.49 lakh.
Coming the brand's cruiser and torturing motorcycle, the entry-level Avenger 160 prices are increased by a small margin — here are the new prices. While the top-spec Avenger 220 Cruise receives a prices increase of around Rs 1,000. The motorcycle now retails at Rs 1.20 lakh.
The brand's Dominar touring motorcycles range has remained unaffected by the recent price increase. The Bajaj Domniar 250 and the Domniar 400 retails at Rs 1.6 lakh and Rs 1.94 lakh, respectively.

Like most auto manufacturers, Bajaj Auto has also been affected by the ongoing pandemic in the country. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the production, distribution and sales of products, which has resulted in losses that are incurred by the company. This could have been one among many reasons behind the second price increase.
