Bajaj Auto Hikes Prices Of Avenger Cruise 220 & Dominar 400 In India: Here Are The New Prices
Bajaj Auto has hiked the prices of two of its models in the Indian market, the Dominar 400 and the Avenger 220 Cruise. According to Zigwheels, Bajaj has hiked the prices of the Dominar 400 by Rs 3000, while the Avenger 220 receives a hike of Rs 2,502 over its previous price tag.
The Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise, post the price hike is offered at Rs 1.19 lakh. The Bajaj Dominar 400, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 1.94 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom (Delhi). Both motorcycles last received a price hike, when they were updated to the latest BS6 emission norms in the country.
The Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise comes powered by the same 220cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It produces 19bhp at 8500rpm and 17.5Nm of peak torque at 7000rpm, mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The Bajaj Dominar 400 is the brand's current flagship model. It borrows its engine from the KTM 390 twins, which comes in the form of a 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine.
The engine on the Dominar 400 has, however, been tuned differently producing 37bhp at 8650rpm and 35Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox, with slipper-clutch as standard.
Bajaj recently announced the restart of operations at their production facilities in India. The company also announced the reopening of all its dealerships across the country, with partial operations having begun.
The company also confirmed that all dealership staff members will ensure all the guidelines and safety measures are followed. Bajaj has also announced a set of safety and social distancing protocols to be strictly adhered to by its employees, ensuring the safety of themselves and that of customers.
Bajaj Auto also recently announced that they have extended the warranty period and free service schedule for its customers, yet again. The warranty period was previously stretched till the end of May, however, with the extended lockdown period, the warranty will now be applicable till the 31st of July, 2020.
Thoughts On The Bajaj Dominar 400 & Avenger Cruise 220 Price Hike
Bajaj has updated the prices of the Dominar 400 and the Avenger Cruise 220 yet again. However, these are not the only two models to receive a price hike. Other models in the brand's lineup including the entire Pulsar range have also witnessed a similar hike in prices.
