The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 S also comes with a more simplistic logo on the fuel tank while also missing out the tank grips on either side.
The standard Royal Enfield Classic 350, on the other hand, comes with a dual-channel ABS and is priced at Rs 1.54 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi). This is Rs 9,000 higher than the new Classic 350 S model.
Royal Enfield recently launched a more affordable version of the Bullet 350 and Bullet 350 ES in the Indian market as well.
The more affordable models called the Royal Enfield Bullet 350X and Bullet 350X ES are priced at Rs 1.12 lakh and Rs 1.21 lakh, respectively. Both prices are ex-showroom (Delhi).
These motorcycles also came with blacked-out elements replacing the excessive chrome bits. Both the Bullet 350X and the 350X ES came with a single-channel ABS similar to the newly launched Classic 350 S.
The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 S is powered by the same 346cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It produces 19.8bhp and 28Nm of torque, mated to a five-speed gearbox. This is also the same engine which also powers the Bullet 350 models in the Indian market.
Apart from the launch of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 S, the company is also said to be working on BS-VI versions of their product lineup in the Indian market. The company will be updating all its current models to comply with the new emission norms which will be implemented from 1st April 2020.
