Revolt RV300, RV400, & RV400 Premium Sold Out Till Years End: Bookings Open For January

The Revolt RV300, RV400 and RV400 Premium are available via the company's MyRevoltPlan or as an outright purchase. The plan offers EMI options with one time payment option. Bookings for the motorcycles are open for the January 2019 lot.

The motorcycles are priced between Rs 85,000 and Rs 99,000 (ex-showroom, India) should one want to buy them outright. EMI options are available over all models. The RV300 is available at a monthly EMI of Rs 2,999, the RV400 and the RV400 Premium models are available for EMIs of Rs 3,499 and Rs 3,999 respectively.

This translates to a total cost of Rs1,15,963 for the RV300, Rs Rs.1,34,463 for the RV400 Base model, and Rs 1,47,963 for the RV400 Premium. While the final landing prices seem way too much, they come with certain perks.

Via the EMI plans, Revolt Intellicorp takes care of the maintenance, the batteries, the tyres, and spare part costs. The only expense outside the EMI is the cost of regular battery charging.

All three Revolt motorcycles come with a standard 5 year warranty/ 75,000kms whichever is earlier, and the batteries are covered by an unlimited 8 years warranty/ 1.5lakh kms. Service intervals are after every 10,000 kms.

The Revolt RV300 is the entry level model which features a 1.5kWH electric motor and a 2.7kW Lithium-ion battery pack. It offers a range of between 80km and 150km on a single charge, and a top speed of 65kmph.

The Revolt RV400 features a 3kWH electric motor and a 3.24kW Lithium-ion battery pack. It offers a range of 156km on a single charge, and a top speed of 85kmph. The motorcycle features a single cradle frame, 37mm upside down front forks, and an adjustable mono-shock at the rear.

The Revolt RV400 Premium is essentially the 400 Base variant but with additional features that include a three year 4G internet services, an immobilizer, a remote key, push start, and a sound simulator system.

The RV400 Premium also features a dedicated smartphone application that offers satellite navigation, a bike locator, motorcycle information & diagnostics, Geo-fencing, doorstep battery deliver, battery swap, and an anti theft alarm.

Thoughts About The All-Electric Revolt Motorcycles Sold Out Until Year's End

Well this comes are a surprise. We did not expect any electric manufacturer to ‘sell out' until the end of the year. Revolt is definitely doing something right. Other electric vehicle manufacturers can learn a thing or two. On the other hand, do we really know if the company has sold that many motorcycles or is this just a gimmick to attract more sales?
