New Bajaj Pulsar 150 ABS Twin Disc Version Spotted In Dealership — Launch Expected Soon

Bajaj Auto India is readying a major update across its entire product lineup in India. All offerings from the brand are ready for the upcoming safety norm, with the introduction of ABS and CBS (Combi-Braking System) for all two-wheelers.

Ahead of the implementation, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 ABS twin disc variant has been spotted arriving at the dealerships. Bajaj will introduce and start sales of the updated Pulsar 150 in the market soon.

Similar to its siblings the Pulsar 180, Pulsar 220F and the Avenger Cruise, the Pulsar 150 will come with a single-channel ABS system. Apart from the additional ABS and the disc brakes on either end, there will be no other changes to the motorcycle.

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 will continue to be powered by a 149cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It produces 14bhp and 13.4Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed gearbox.

The Pulsar 150 will come with telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear. Braking will be handled by 260mm front and 230mm rear disc, supported by a single-channel ABS and Rear Lift Protection (RLP).

The addition of the ABS system will increase the retail price of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 by around Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000. The Pulsar 150 twin disc variant currently retails for Rs 80, 794, ex-showroom (Delhi).

Bajaj Auto India is working constantly to update all their existing models in their lineup to comply with the upcoming safety norms. Apart from this, Bajaj is also said to be working on the BS-VI engines for the 2020 emission norms.
